Rules

1. 1Each participant must machine the assigned component individually.
2. 2The given drawing and dimensions must be followed.
3. 3Only the designated lathe and approved tools may be used.
4. 4Required PPE must be worn throughout machining. Safe machine-operating procedures must be followed.
5. 5Unauthorised assistance is prohibited. Participants must not operate machinery in an unsafe manner.
6. 6Measurements must be performed using permitted instruments.
7. 7Work must be completed within the allotted time. Final dimensions will be checked by the inspection team.
8. 8Judging: surface finish (uniformity and smoothness); accuracy (adherence to specified dimensions); handling (tool handling and workmanship); time efficiency (completion within the shortest possible time).
